On Cape Cod, glass has been made for generations. The town of Sandwich, Massachusetts, has been famous for over one hundred years for its "Sandwich glass". Today, glassblower Michael Magyar continues this proud tradition at the "Glass Studio on Cape Cod". Located on historic Route 6-A in East Sandwich (map), next to the Fire Station, Michael invites you to watch as he creates new hand blown glass daily in his studio... glass that fits well in any museum or private collection, yet is still reasonably priced. Michael Magyar glass is found across the United States and in Japan.
Michael Magyar also creates sculptures of steel, concrete and glass. His "Giants" sculptures light up the town during the holiday season. As of 2025, he has produced 156 Giants.
